Main Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently handle an administrative workload
  • Opening and closing files
  • Supporting 2-3 fee partners
  • Draft documents and bills
  • Provide proactive administrative support to a busy legal team, ensuring tasks are managed effectively and efficiently
  • Manage the full lifecycle of legal files, from initial setup through to closure
  • Assist and coordinate work for multiple senior legal professionals, maintaining excellent organisation and prioritisation
  • Draft and prepare legal documents and client billing materials with precision and attention to detail
  • Support routine legal procedures under supervision, including scheduling meetings, liaising with external parties, completing legal forms, and handling financial transactions
  • Communicate confidently with clients and stakeholders via phone, email, written correspondence, and in person
  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory standards and departmental protocols
  • Uphold internal policies around risk and compliance, including file audits and anti-money laundering procedures
  • Handle initial client and third-party enquiries in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Private Client Legal Secretary
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
