Our client is a fast-paced third-party logistics (3PL) company, providing end-to-end supply chain solutions to a wide range of clients across various industries. Our mission is to deliver efficient, accurate, and scalable logistics services. We are currently looking for motivated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our dynamic team.

Job Purpose

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the accurate and timely receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods on behalf of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and check deliveries against documentation.
  • Helping with physical duties in the Goods in section as required (some products can weigh up to 40kg and would require 2 person lifts).
  • Accurately pick and pack orders in line with client and company standards.
  • Ensure goods are stored safely and efficiently in designated areas.
  • Load goods for dispatch, ensuring they are secure and labelled correctly.
  • Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners where required.
  • Carry out stock checks and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Work as part of a team to meet productivity and service targets.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not essential.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and able to lift, move, and handle goods safely.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
  • Forklift licence (Counterbalance, Reach or Combi truck) is an advantage but not essential - these would influence a higher starting rate.

Working Hours - 0830-1700 Monday to Friday - certain contracts may offer rotational shift patterns as an alternative option.

Hourly rate - £12.21 per hour (shift allowance applied for antisocial hours/ call-out).
