Our mission is to deliver efficient, accurate, and scalable logistics services. We are currently looking for motivated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our dynamic team.
Job Purpose
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the accurate and timely receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods on behalf of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and check deliveries against documentation.
- Helping with physical duties in the Goods in section as required (some products can weigh up to 40kg and would require 2 person lifts).
- Accurately pick and pack orders in line with client and company standards.
- Ensure goods are stored safely and efficiently in designated areas.
- Load goods for dispatch, ensuring they are secure and labelled correctly.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners where required.
- Carry out stock checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Work as part of a team to meet productivity and service targets.
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not essential.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to lift, move, and handle goods safely.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance, Reach or Combi truck) is an advantage but not essential - these would influence a higher starting rate.
Working Hours - 0830-1700 Monday to Friday - certain contracts may offer rotational shift patterns as an alternative option.
Hourly rate - £12.21 per hour (shift allowance applied for antisocial hours/ call-out).
