The Client: A well-known PR and marketing agency in Derby that works across multiple B2B sectors, offering their clients content, public relations, social media and digital marketing. Their people are incredibly happy and have great staff retention, with people who have made the move returning to their roots. With a focus on development, they love for their people to mentor and nurture others in the team to ensure everyone is learning and growing in their career. Our client is experiencing great growth and wants to bring in a senior person who can help take the agency to the next level.
The Role: As Digital Account Manager, you will be working with the senior leadership team to shape and develop digital marketing strategies for a range of existing and new clients across the B2B sector. You will have strong knowledge and hands-on experience in PPC, SEO and paid social and be able to really help clients understand how marketing can help them. Not only will you be client-facing, but you will be hands-on managing campaigns yourself. You will also be managing a Digital Marketing Executive and helping them to develop in their career. This role will allow you to be creative, think outside the box, and offer the very best service to your clients while having fun and feeling supported.
About You: This role would suit a Digital Account Manager who loves autonomy and being part of a small but mighty team. You will have the opportunity to have your voice heard and help direct the direction of digital marketing for the agency and their clients. Previous agency experience is essential.
- Must have agency experience
- Working as a Senior Digital Account Executive OR Digital Account Manager currently
- Experience in client-facing, developing and nurturing relationships and able to explain to clients the benefits of paid advertising and what they can expect
- Hands-on digital campaign experience and able to be on the platforms, running campaigns
- Experience in setting up, optimising and reporting on PPC campaigns (Google Ads)
- Experience in paid social media campaigns, especially LinkedIn Ads
- Some experience in SEO and content
- An interest in PR would be great and knowledge of how integrated campaigns align
- Either experience in mentoring or managing a junior in the team and a passion to see people thrive
