Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a respected and well-established organisation based in Loughton to recruit a Finance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and analytically strong finance professional to join a collaborative team and lead across a broad range of finance activities—with a particular focus on financial planning and analysis (FP&A).

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:

  • Preparation of management reporting and insightful commentary for stakeholders.
  • Month-end processes including journals, P&L and Balance Sheet review.
  • Revenue tracking, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ownership of budgeting and rolling forecasting processes.
  • Insurance renewals and submissions.
  • Year-end activities including audit preparation and liaison.
  • Support with working capital management and banking relationships.
  • Approve/sign off invoices and payments as needed.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial systems and processes.

The successful Finance Manager:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Strong technical and commercial finance knowledge.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills are essential.
  • Desirable: Experience with stock control and forecasting.
