We are recruiting for our client based near Heathrow to oversee and lead the Import / export gateway team.
Duties:
- Manage gateway operations team and customs staff
- Oversee air, road and sea shipments and resolve any issues
- Plan week ahead and staff rotas for out of office cover
- Arrange and implement training where required for staff
- Liaise with customs and ensure they are cleared following regulations
- Offer quotes and liaise with projects team
- Oversee ETSF & DEP
You should have strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team while maintaining a professional environment, good attention to detail, and have operations knowledge and understanding of customs and VAT.
