We are working with a major electricity supply company seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in the Heathrow/Central London area. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of electrical infrastructure construction projects, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and UK CDM 2015 regulations.

Location: Heathrow/Central London Area

Sector: Electrical Infrastructure/Construction

Travel Required: Yes - to client offices and project sites

Driving Licence: Valid UK driving licence required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide competent quality management advice across projects
  • Develop and implement appropriate Quality Management Systems
  • Promote compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards through review, audit, certification, and induction processes
  • Conduct internal audits and support certification processes
  • Monitor and maintain site certification for materials, tools, and equipment (including tool calibration)
  • Maintain comprehensive project records and compile final data book documentation
  • Develop appropriate quality management system inductions, training and communication materials for the project team and subcontractors
  • Operate within the Governance, Risk, Compliance & Quality framework
  • Visit service locations, client offices, and construction project sites as needed

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum HNC in Quality Management, Construction, Project Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Practitioner member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) (Chartered status desirable)
  • Trained QMS Auditor or Internal Auditor, with proven experience auditing to ISO 9001:2015
  • Strong quality management experience (not just quality control or inspection) in the construction industry
  • Demonstrable experience working under the UK CDM 2015 regulations
  • Valid UK driving licence
