The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
A Senior Unified Communications Engineer, who will actively manage, support and develop Unified Communication (UC) technologies across the Business.
You will contribute to the engineering and architecture disciplines by utilising your knowledge to plan, build, deploy and support new and existing UC technologies. You will collaborate with other teams to proactively monitor system performance, proactively addressing and resolving any issues. The role will ensure service availability is maintained and improved, leading to an enhanced user experience. You will contribute to planning discussions on IT investments, ensuring solutions and systems are delivered in line with Information Security and Governance requirements.
This role is eligible for the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Preferred skills and experience- Experience working as a 3rd line Unified Communications Engineer.
- Experience in designing, configuring and implementing solutions within an organisation.
- Skilled in delivering, implementing and supporting Microsoft Exchange, both Online and On Premise.
- Skilled in supporting Microsoft Teams.
- Maintaining, supporting and managing Cisco Ironports such as ESA.
- Maintaining, supporting and managing MDM technologies.
- Experience of strategic planning and decision making to align IT with business objectives.
- Ability to understand and deliver tasks and projects to our business standards.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines with a pragmatic approach to administration, governance and risk.
- Maintaining and managing our core UC services and providing improvements where necessary.
- Working closely with IT management and other functional groups to design, develop, deploy and administer our collaboration services.
- Participating in product evaluations, system testing and product lifecycle management.
- Enforcing all security controls when enabling new UC applications and features, whilst continually documenting and maintaining this.
- Participating in both scheduled and unscheduled system maintenance including change management, on call and off-hours systems support.
- Maintaining a UC Service Catalogue detailing service definitions and the technologies being utilised.
- Maintaining and enforcing the governance of each UC application and feature, in line with ISG standards.
- Setting up all UC applications and features, technical designs, standards and process documentation.
