Assistant to join the team immediately. This full-time position within our
KS2-3 Department involves providing support to learners on a 1:1, small group,
and whole-class basis. The school caters to students aged 2 to 16 with mixed
abilities and Profound and Multiple learning difficulties. Committed to

**Responsibilities:**

* Support learners individually, in small groups, and in whole-class settings.
* Create a warm, caring, and supportive environment for students, fostering a sense of safety and enjoyment in their learning journey.
* Contribute to delivering high-quality, challenging, and tailored educational activities that align with a diverse and comprehensive curriculum.
* Aim to help pupils reach their full potential across all areas of learning.
* Support KS1-KS3 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group, and classroom basis
* Communicate with parents and carers regarding pupils progress, and actively participate in departmental meetings, parents evenings, and whole-school training events.

**Requirements:**

* Relevant childcare experience (voluntary or paid) (Must be able to provide references)
* Experience working or volunteering with SEN (desirable)
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
* Eligibility to work in the UK **(No sponsorship provided)**
* **Enhanced DBS**
* All experience levels considered; ideal candidates are flexible, resilient, and have a positive approach to supporting learners with SEN (direct SEN experience not essential)
* Relevant experienceknowledge of UK SEN settings (desirable)
