YAP Media is hiring a Marketing Director to work closely with our CEO, Hala Taha, and lead the execution of key marketing and business development initiatives across the company. In this dynamic role, you will oversee marketing operations, podcast growth programs, strategic business development efforts, and manage the execution of high-priority projects that drive growth for YAP Media. We work with high-profile clients, including billionaires, celebrities, and top influencers. As we continue our expansion, we need a scrappy, results-driven Marketing Director who can wear multiple hats, drive innovation, and lead our marketing and growth efforts in the ever-evolving podcast landscape. This is an exciting, multifaceted role, where you will be expected to leverage strong marketing and business development skills, foster meaningful relationships with podcasters, and contribute to the expansion of YAP Media’s podcast network and revenue potential. Success in this role will be determined by your ability to execute marketing strategies, develop new partnerships, and lead projects and teams to achieve measurable growth. Marketing Leadership. Collaborate with the CEO to execute high-level marketing strategies. Lead key marketing projects, including campaign development, podcast growth strategies, and brand visibility efforts to enhance YAP Media\’s presence and reach. Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and podcast collaborations that align with YAP Media’s goals. Podcast Growth Programs. Oversee and drive the development of podcast growth programs, ensuring continuous audience expansion and engagement. Create and execute strategies that maximize podcast monetization opportunities and downloads/impressions. Manage the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring they are aligned with business goals. Track and optimize campaign performance to ensure maximum ROI and growth. Project Management. Launch and manage new projects and programs aimed at business growth and operational efficiency, from conception to completion. Recruitment & Network Expansion. Identify, recruit, and onboard new podcasts and content creators into YAP Media’s network. Build relationships with potential podcast hosts, content creators, and influencers to strengthen the brand and network. Build and nurture long-term, strategic relationships with high-performing publishers and content creators to drive revenue for YAP Media’s podcasts. Marketing Analytics & Reporting. Use data-driven insights to track the performance of marketing initiatives, including podcast growth and campaigns. Public Relations & Brand Visibility. Execute PR initiatives to increase Hala’s visibility as a top podcaster, strengthen SEO performance, and improve brand equity. Focus on securing media placements, podcast interviews, and partnerships to enhance YAP Media’s reputation. Email Outreach & Communication. Develop and execute strategic email outreach campaigns to foster relationships with partners, grow the podcast audience, and drive engagement across all channels. SEO Optimization. Lead the strategic improvement of SEO for both YAP Media and Young and Profiting websites to enhance visibility and organic search rankings. Substack Launch and Content Support. Spearhead the launch of the YAP Media Brand Substack, working closely with a scriptwriter to create compelling blog and newsletter content that resonates with the audience. Website Revamp Project Management. com, collaborating with the web and creative teams to ensure seamless development and implementation. Collaborate closely with the YAP Media team—network sales, ad operations and podcast production teams—to align marketing efforts with broader business objectives and ensure campaign success. Stay updated on the latest trends in podcasting and content monetization. Proactively incorporate new insights and strategies to refine and grow YAP Media’s podcast marketing programs. Successfully identify and secure new business opportunities, including recruitment of podcasts into the network, resulting in increased brand reach and revenue growth within the first 90 days. Optimize Podcast Growth Programs. Lead podcast growth initiatives that result in significant increases in podcast listenership, audience engagement, and monetization opportunities within the first 90 days. Launch and Manage High-Impact Projects. Successfully manage and execute high-priority projects and programs that directly contribute to YAP Media’s growth and operational efficiency, delivering results on time and within budget. Achieve Marketing Campaign Success. Ensure the successful launch and execution of marketing campaigns, resulting in increased brand awareness, podcast downloads, and engagement for both YAP Media and clients within the first 60 days. Increase Brand Visibility. Elevate Hala’s personal brand and the YAP Media podcast network’s visibility through strategic PR efforts, securing key media placements, interviews, and increasing overall SEO ranking within the first 180 days. Grow the podcast audience through effective email outreach, PR, and strategic partnerships, resulting in higher engagement, brand recognition, and increased opportunities for sponsorships. Launch the YAP Media Brand Substack and collaborate with our scriptwriter to produce high-quality content, ensuring consistent growth in subscriber base and engagement within the first 90 days. Manage, test, and optimize Google and Paid Ads campaigns for the YAP Podcast, resulting in improved reach and engagement. Expand ad networks and drive measurable performance improvements within the first 60 days. Complete Website Revamp. com, enhancing user experience and performance, leading to increased traffic and improved brand visibility within the first 180 days. 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on publisher development or partnerships, and a proven track record of driving growth and leading high-impact marketing initiatives. ~ Strong project management skills, with the ability to launch, execute, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. ~ Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. ~ Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making and campaign optimization. ~ Familiarity with SEO, paid media strategies, and email marketing tools. ~ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with cross-functional global teams. ~ Analytical mindset with the ability to assess performance data and optimize podcast strategies accordingly. ~ Knowledge of SEO and content monetization in the podcasting space. ~ Comfortable shifting between creative, strategic, and operational tasks. ~ Adaptable & Responsive: Performs well in a fast-paced, remote-first and evolving environment.
