Diesel Engine Validation Test Engineer in Peterborough (Site based) for a 12 month assignment (high chance of being extended).
As a Validation Engineer, you will have responsibility for conducting testing on validation test beds to sign-off components and working on engines.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed test planning, execution of testing activities, analysis of results, and documentation with clear recommendations for the relevant process partners.
- Carry out complex engine validation tests.
- Evaluate products and processes; perform needs analysis and initiate ideas.
- Keep up to date on new technologies or develop new technologies.
- Communicate technical information to a range of stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Experience in validation of engines and engine systems.
- Experienced in the use of testbed software, calibration tools, emissions measuring equipment and test data logging systems.
- Hands-on engine testing and problem-solving experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering curriculum.
Competitive Hourly Rate - Umbrella OR PAYE.
