Role Description
This is a hybrid role for a Business Manager, based in Barnsley, with regional and national travel. The Business Manager will oversee day-to-day operations via site visits, manage client relationships, develop business strategies and gain new contracts, and ensure the highest standards of work are maintained. The role involves coordinating with various areas in the business through supporting and growing OTM and our sister company Warehouse Design & Build, monitoring project progress, managing budgets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the implementation of new business processes to maximise business efficiency and productivity which will include project/programme management, financial management and performance management. The candidate will also support the directors with all elements of marketing and business development.
Qualifications/previous experience
- Extensive experience in cladding and construction
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in budget management and financial planning
- Ability to develop and implement business strategies
- Proficient in analysing project requirements and ensuring timely completion on each project
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience & knowledge in the renovation, restoration, new build and cladding industry essential
- CSCS, SMSTS essential
- NEBOSH desirable
- Support Marketing strategies for OTM and Warehouse Design & Build
Contract terms: 6 months fixed term contract initially, with potential to extend to permanent. 4 weeks annual leave.
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience plus attractive commission per project on successful completion.
