I'm looking for a Design Leader to join a Fintech company who are a high-growth, product-led business with a strong customer base and bold ambitions to scale. The design function is growing and this is an opportunity for someone who’s excited about both shaping product experiences and building a world-class design culture from the ground up.

Your role:

  • Lead and develop a small team of Product Designers (currently 2), while staying close to the work yourself.
  • Partner closely with a visionary CPO, someone who genuinely champions design, to bring the product vision to life.
  • Take ownership of design operations, rituals and culture, helping shape how design is perceived and practiced across the business.
  • Lay the foundations for future scale! This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys building for what’s next.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Have management experience. You’ve previously led Product Design teams, with experience line managing 3+ designers.
  • Love balancing hands-on design work with coaching and mentoring.
  • Are comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative product environments (ideally with experience in a startup or scale-up).
  • Think strategically about design, but also enjoy rolling your sleeves up.

Bonus point: If you’ve worked in the Finance industry, Mobile First environment or potentially the Gaming space then this could be a good fit!

Location: London based, 3 days a week in the office.

Salary: This role has £110k - £120k, dependant on experience.

Portfolio: You must have a design leadership portfolio which showcases your leadership experience/style alongside example work.
