About Rival and This Role: Backed by top VCs and angels, Rival is a London-based tech company working on one of the most ambitious projects in the 3D space. Currently a team of 11, Rival has brought together talent from Google, Amazon, BCG, Morgan Stanley, and more. As we gear up for our next phase of growth, we’re looking for a dedicated social media hire to help expand our online presence across all major social media platforms and build a vibrant creator community. This is a hands-on role with real ownership—expect lots of responsibility, creative freedom, and the chance to shape how the world sees Rival.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ideate & plan campaigns: Build and maintain a rolling content calendar for LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Reddit, YouTube, and Instagram, tailoring each concept to the platform’s voice.
  • Create posts & videos: Use Photoshop, Canva, CapCut, and AI tools to craft engaging visuals, clips, and copy.
  • Engage the community: Jump into conversations, respond to comments and DMs, and funnel community insights back to the team.
  • Measure & report: Track reach, growth, and engagement across channels, turning data into actionable recommendations each sprint.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven social-media experience: You have managed successful personal or brand accounts on core platforms such as LinkedIn and X, and can present examples of high-performing posts or campaigns.
  • Platform expertise: You understand the nuances of each channel—e.g., LinkedIn post, X threads, YouTube video—and can adapt tone, format, and messaging accordingly.
  • Comprehensive content toolkit: You are proficient in Photoshop, Canva, CapCut, or similar content-creation tools, and familiarity with AI-powered creation platforms is a plus.
  • 3D workflow familiarity: You understand the fundamentals of 3D asset pipelines, with hands-on experience with tools such as Blender, Maya, Substance Painter, or Unreal Engine as a plus.
  • Self-driven creativity: You are able to originate concepts, execute independently, and iterate based on data without requiring detailed briefs.
