Are you a senior QA Test Engineer with experience of testing modern cloud based software at scale? You could be progressing your career in an impactful role at a tech company that provides a range of B2B SaaS solutions.
As a Principal QA Test Engineer you will have oversight of QA testing processes across 3-4 Agile squads. You'll be the go-to person and SME, becoming an influential leader you'll collaborate with Architects, Lead Engineers and Engineering Managers on implementation of best practices, testing tools and test strategy.
You will define and implement the overall testing strategy, encompassing both manual and automated testing approaches, ensuring the overall quality of the Product through development of test strategies and execution of various test techniques including end-to-end implementation and production monitoring. You'll help to drive continuous improvement as an active member of the QA Guild, collaborating with other Squads and Tribes to ensure consistency across teams and to share practices.
WFH Policy: There's a remote interview and onboarding process and you'll be able to work from most of the time, meeting up with the team for constructive meetings once a month in the Nottingham office.
You have a wealth of QA testing experience, with experience of testing large scale, data centric systems. You understand the "bigger picture" and can take a high level overview and make decisions that will benefit the business long term. You have experience of working closely with software engineers and influencing product development.
You have a strong knowledge of C# (or other OO programming language), API testing and AWS (or other public cloud). You have experience of coaching and mentoring and can foster a culture of excellence. You have a strong knowledge of testing best practices and Test Automation. You have experience of working in an Agile team environment.
