Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong technical background to support the delivery of change initiatives within a dynamic Agile environment. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage the change backlog and drive delivery across a wider change agenda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Maintain and prioritise the change backlog, ensuring alignment with broader Data Platform priorities.
- Provide structured and transparent status updates to stakeholders and consumers.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Product Owners to track progress against milestones, manage risks and issues, and ensure budget adherence.
- Contribute to the technical development approach, balancing cost, time, quality, and risk.
- Assist in identifying, managing, and resolving technical Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAIDs).
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Certified Scrum Master (or equivalent Agile certification).
- Proven experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong understanding of the full end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Demonstrated servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement skills.
- Hands-on technical experience in software development or implementation.
- Experience designing software solutions across distributed and integrated architectures.
- Previous experience working within the Financial Services sector.
