Are you a highly experienced Network Engineer who’s got experience in a diverse infrastructure? We’re looking for a Network Engineer to establish a Technical Ops first approach to a cloud and on-prem setup.
The Network Engineer will be responsible for hosting environments and the observability, highly available info-sec with IaC. This is a Senior role so looking for an experienced Network Engineer that has worked on multiple simultaneous projects, including legacy infrastructure and migration to modern infrastructure.
This role requires expertise in Palo Alto, Next Gen Firewalls and Prisma. The main purpose of the environments will be embracing observability, high-availability and infosec, along with IaC. You’ll be making sure that you support the system and network infrastructure with switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls, compute, storage and virtualization. If you have ever worked in a mergers & acquisition setting this would be highly advantageous.
Technical Expertise – must haves- Strong Palo Alto portfolio experience with Prisma
- Strong understanding of BGP and in the field experience designing, deploying & troubleshooting
- Enterprise level system and network design experience
- Experience working in cloud (we use multi-vendor so experience with any AWS, GCP or Azure)
- IPSEC, DHCP, DNS
- Strong experience with Juniper switches & routers (Cisco also considered)
- VXLAN and EVPN
- Must have load balancing experience
- HAProxy experience is a strong plus, however F5, A10, Kemp, etc are suitable alternates
- Work remotely and flexibly
