This position is for a Systems Engineering (SE) Lead Engineer supporting research and new product development. The Systems Engineer is responsible for requirements management, system architecture development, and supporting system integration and test. The product and systems are thermal fluid and dynamic mechanical systems that support aerospace applications. These aerospace applications are diverse and will primarily include aircraft refuelling, and weapons storage and release systems.
The Systems Engineer should be self-motivated to proactively learn about the technical domain of the given system and identify how and where the systems engineering discipline can create the highest value. Finally, the candidate should work as a member and partner of the product team generating SE work products and providing technical guidance to incorporate systems engineering methodologies.

- Defining areas of risk and updates
- Rolling out training sessions for DOORS NG
- Engineering Administrator of DOORS NG Tool for WIM SE team
- Leveraging training to support other US based divisions

- Developing metrics to measure SE process implementation
- Serving as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Systems Engineering MSD
- Developing skills matrix and training plans to build discipline capabilities within MSD
- Developing SE implementation plans for each program based on value proposition
Qualifications:
- Relevant Engineering Training / Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace industry as Systems Engineer
- Any experience with MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering)
- Leader on engineering product team creating and delivering SE work products
- Relationship building and ability to balance SE discipline into programs
- Working knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), and Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) principles
