We are delighted to be partnered with a North Yorkshire based Investment management organisation in their search for a talented Financial Controller. Our ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of what Finance looks like within an Investment Management Firm as well as being well versed in having responsibility for large transactional teams.

Our ideal candidate:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Financial Services experience - Investment / Wealth Management (or) broader FS (AUM)
  • Understanding of Finance (end to end) from an operational perspective.

Your new role:

  • Overseeing the production of monthly and annual accounts;
  • Pursuing and implementing improvements in processes and controls;
  • Enhancing financial analysis and internal reporting;
  • Ensuring reconciliation requirements across the teams are met, including balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations and external stock reconciliations;
  • Monitoring and managing the Firm’s cash flow;
  • Liaising with auditors to ensure successful annual audits;
