An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for 2 Team Leaders to join our Environmental Health team on a permanent basis.

NRS brings together a diverse range of Glasgow City Council operational, technical and development services that focus on sustainable transport, place making and delivering essential city services.

Position Details

Based within either the Public Health or the Business Regulation team, you will work both independently and collaboratively to contribute to the delivery of the Environmental Health service within Glasgow. This is a challenging and rewarding role in a busy local authority and offers the successful candidate the opportunity to contribute towards the development and management of the Service.

You must have good communication skills, previous supervisory experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a working knowledge of the role of an Environmental Health Officer within a local authority setting. A Degree and a Diploma in Environmental Health is an essential requirement of this role. A current driving licence is desirable.
