We are seeking a highly organised Archive & Clearance Assistant to join our team. This is a varied and fast paced role with a focus on file management and curation, as well as image rights approvals and clearances. The position requires a keen eye for detail and organisation, a passion for imagery and proactive approach to problem solving.
Key Responsibilities;
– Archive – Taking a central role in all archival tasks, including processing, organising and storing the library’s stills and motion assets. Collaborating with other departments to ensure each asset is correctly prepared for the archive, maintaining a key eye for detail throughout.
– Clearances – Leaning on existing processes, effectively source and secure clearances and approvals with rights holders. Maintaining meticulous records and ensuring the agreements meet our licensing terms and conditions.
Other Responsibilities;
– Content Curation – Support on important archival tasks such as client presentations and curating artist submissions for our library. Monitoring client briefs and creative trends to ensure we are highlighting the right types of stills and video content.
– Workflow – Propose and implement improvements to archival tasks and processes, ensuring a streamlined workflow that maximises our web and software tools.
– Team Collaboration – Working with the wider team to build the archive, suggesting new photographer and partnership ideas – helping to maintain the overarching brand vision.
Qualifications;
- Minimum of 1 year experience in image licensing or photographic industry.
- Proficiency with Adobe suite, for both stills and video file formats.
- Familiarity with best archival practices and file management.
- A passion and knowledge of photography and moving image.
