I am recruiting Skilled/Indentured Skilled CNC Miller to work onsite in Yeovil, Somerset for a 6 month contract initially.
Contract hours: 37 hours per week, day shift.
Pay rates:
- £18.99 per hour (Skilled Worker)
- £19.54 per hour (Indentured Skilled Worker)
Both rates attract holiday pay in addition.
The role will involve CNC Milling of Aerospace Equipment, in accordance with Manufacturing Instructions, Specifications and Customer/Regulator Requirements.

Main responsibilities:
- Machining (Programming, setting & running of 3 axis milling centres)
- OCQ - Operator Control of Quality
- Ensuring work is completed on time and to the required standard to meet delivery requirements
- Interpreting Engineering Drawings, following the process layout and documentation procedures
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Engineering Apprenticeship (Desirable but not Essential)
- Knowledge of machining, specifically CNC Milling
- An understanding of CNC Milling within the Aerospace industry
- Knowledge of hand measuring equipment, such as Vernier, Micrometer, Thread and Plug Gauges
- High standard of Health & Safety
- Working in a Customer-focused environment and achieving targets
- Working with Designers and Engineers
- PC literate
Any further training requirements will be provided: PC skills (incl. Company Operating Systems), Manual Handling, 5S, HOS Principles and general Health & Safety.
Vetting will include a drug screen & 5 years' referencing.
