HGV Class C+E Day Drivers Required Ferrybridge.
Pertemps Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a global logistics provider based in the WF11 8RA area. You will be delivering lightweight construction materials such as plasterboard and timber. We are seeking HGV C+E drivers with a minimum of 1 yearβs commercial driving experience on your Tacho card. Start times are 7am and based on 8-10 hours maximum a day. This contract would be ideal for someone who is not chasing the hours and would prefer short days Monday to Friday.
In return, the HGV C+E Driver will receive a salary depending on your working hours:
- PAYE Drivers HGV C+E Class Days Monday to Friday: Β£15.29ph Flat Rates (Guaranteed 8hrs min) Holidays are accrued as you work.
- UMBRELLA Drivers HGV C+E Class Days Monday to Friday: Β£18.00ph Flat Rates (Guaranteed 8hrs min) No holidays paid.
30 Min Break Deductions on anything worked over 8hrs.
As the HGV C+E Driver, your duties will include:
- 3 to 4 Deliveries a day
- No handballing or lifting
- All palletised goods
- Curtain siders (Must have experience pulling curtains)
- A safety-first approach to driving and ensuring loads are safely secured.
- Completing daily delivery paperwork and logbooks.
- Start times around 07:00am
- Strapping loads (Legal requirement)
To be a successful HGV C+E Driver you will have the following skills and experience:
- HGV C+E entitlement, CPC Card up to date and a Digi card.
- Held your licence for at least 1 year and be clear of DR, CD and IN endorsements, for insurance purposes.
- Knowledge of the UK roads
- Fluent in English reading and writing
All rates can vary depending on how you would like to get paid. PAYE you accrue holiday pay on top of your hourly rate and Umbrella is paid at a higher rate but no holiday pay.
