Located in the heart of Aberdeen, Dee View Court is a 43-bed specialist care home providing expert neurorehabilitation and long-term care for adults with complex needs. Our dedicated team delivers personalised care plans in a supportive, homely environment where residents are empowered to achieve their goals and live well every day.
We are now looking for a compassionate and committed Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) to join us on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This role is based on night shifts and offers a fantastic opportunity to work within a skilled, supportive team in a highly specialised care setting.
- Salary: £17.79 – £18.80 per hour (depending on experience)
- Contracted hours: 35.25 hours per week
- Shift pattern: 19:00 PM - 07:15 AM
- 30-minute paid break per shift, plus two 15-minute unpaid breaks
- Weekday and weekend working on a rota basis
- Paid PVG, pension scheme, free uniform and onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks’ annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
- A supportive, multidisciplinary team with a strong focus on clinical development
Your role: As a Registered Nurse at Dee View Court, you will be at the centre of our specialist care approach. You will lead your team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care that supports the complex needs of each resident. From neurorehabilitation to long-term clinical support, your expertise will ensure that every resident receives individualised attention and respect.
You will take ownership of care planning, medication management, shift leadership, and clinical decision-making, while also offering hands-on support with day-to-day care. You will champion dignity, advocate for resident needs, and help maintain a safe, empowering environment.
What we are looking for: A Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN, a calm, compassionate approach and a genuine passion for helping others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong clinical judgement and a team-oriented mindset. Previous experience in a care home or neurodisability setting is an advantage, though not essential.
