The BRIT School is looking to appoint an exceptional Musical Director and Teacher of Singing in Musical Theatre to join our dynamic and highly successful Musical Theatre Department. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of performers in a unique and creative environment dedicated to nurturing talent.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Significant experience in musical direction and teaching singing within a vocational musical theatre setting.
- A strong understanding of musical theatre repertoire and vocal pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and team-working skills.
- A degree in musical theatre or equivalent professional experience.
- Qualified Teacher Status (desirable – the School is supportive of those working towards QTS).
- Experience working with young people in an educational or training context.
- Ability to play the piano, sight read and accompany to a high standard.
