Adjacency are delighted to be exclusively partnering a full-service law firm with offices across the Southwest and Midlands in their recruitment of a Paralegal for their New Homes Division. Our client is recognised in the industry for having a fabulous culture and ensuring their employees are happy and fulfilled in their roles is high on their people agenda. They also put great focus on training and development, and this role is no different. With 32 developments in total, my client's New Homes team is busier than ever and a key focus of the Real Estate Practice. The work is specialised, sometimes complex but always rewarding and you will be building relationships that mean you will win the friendship and loyalty of clients and colleagues alike. The firm/team will support you every step of the way - in time inviting you to take the CILEX qualification so you can continue developing your legal career or, if you prefer, allow you to build on your experience as a Paralegal and explore this opportunity to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting on property acquisitions, plot sales, conveyancing and all areas of the fast-paced nature of the new homes market.
  • Prepare contract packs, completion statements, and other relevant documentation.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing legal documents.
  • Liaising with clients and third parties.
  • Assisting lawyers with various aspects of the conveyancing process.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of all tasks.

To be considered for this opportunity you will have previous experience working within law, property or conveyancing in an administration/secretarial based role, or will have relevant skills or experience that will allow a smooth transition into a Paralegal role. You should also have excellent communication skills, (verbal & written), and be detail orientated with the ability to work at pace when required.

This role offers a salary of £25,000 - £30,000, (depending on experience), and offers a hybrid working pattern once the successful candidate is fully trained. Please note although this role offers the opportunity to pursue a CILEX qualification at some point in the future it is not an immediate stepping stone to a training contract.
