A highly successful business is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join their treasury team located in the Dorset area. This will be a mostly remote role within Dorset.
Your Role
- Supporting the production of the financial plan, translating data used for the plan into the financial planning software and translating the plan into the annual financial forecast return submission.
- Producing the business plan in relation to credit rating, with accompanying analysis including stress testing and scenario analysis, and developing new stress testing methods to support the analysis of risk, alongside creating new business plan reporting.
- Extracting data from the development system to input into the business planning software and ensuring that relevant data is reconciled to the budget and forecasted data, in addition to continuously collaborating with providers to ensure data quality is improved.
- Producing reports to improve the access to data for the Treasury team.
- Actively contributing to the monthly cash flow forecasting and reporting process to enhance reporting provided to stakeholders, reporting on the business’ KPIs and supporting the development of new reporting methods.
- On a monthly basis, providing peer benchmarking analysis of credit ratings across the sector, and producing development metrics in a report for the investment team.
- Monitoring the net worth equalisation model to support decision making surrounding new projects.
- Reconciling the return for the statutory accounts and providing manager feedback on outputs.
You MUST Have
- Possession of a treasury or related financial qualification.
- Extensive experience within financial planning and analysis, particularly within consolidated group environments.
- Excellent working knowledge of scenario and stress testing, as well as operational triggers and mitigation strategies.
- An understanding of financial information from financial statements and accounting standards.
- Exquisite communication skills, particularly in stakeholder engagement and the ability to present technical findings to stakeholders of various levels.
- Prior experience handling cash flow analysis and forecasting.
- Good IT knowledge, including Microsoft Office, as well as additional experience in financial accounting systems and software and financial planning and business information and analysis tools.
