Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, practical and theory-based training in mechanical engineering
- Support learners through Level 3 qualifications and apprenticeship standards
- Share industry knowledge and practices to help students reach their potential
- Promote safe working practices and maintain a positive, professional learning environment
- Contribute to curriculum delivery and continuous improvement processes
What You'll Need:
- Level 3 (or higher) qualification in mechanical engineering
- Industry experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally including hydraulics/pneumatics
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Good interpersonal and IT skills
- A commitment to learner success and a passion for passing on knowledge
Desirable but not essential:
- Teaching and/or assessor qualifications (training will be provided)
- Familiarity with CAD software
Additional Information:
- A full driving licence and own transport is required for occasional inter-site travel
- This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check
