Salary:

  • Class 1: £40,000 – £42,000 + overtime
  • Class 2: £36,000 – £38,000 + overtime

Parkside Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced Drivers / Fine Art Handlers to join a leading specialist in the transport of high-value art, antiques, and luxury furniture. This role offers the opportunity to work with prestigious clients and travel throughout the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely pack, load, transport, and install fine art, sculptures, and luxury furniture
  • Drive locally and across Europe with a focus on secure and professional handling
  • Wrap, protect, and secure artwork for safe transit
  • Complete documentation such as condition reports, bills of lading, and timesheets
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery
  • Adhere to company and industry standards for handling valuable and delicate items

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV licence with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience handling fine art, antiques, or high-end furniture
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, including working at height (using ladders or scaffolding)
  • Well-presented, professional, and client-facing attitude
  • Flexibility to travel across Europe and stay overnight as required
