We're a rapidly growing recruitment business based in Solihull, and we're looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic, entrepreneurial company with big growth plans.
As Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management and reporting, working closely with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and ensure financial health and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead day-to-day finance operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts
- Oversee payroll, invoicing, credit control, and VAT returns
- Partner with directors to deliver insightful financial reporting and business analysis
- Manage relationships with external accountants, banks, and HMRC
- Improve and implement robust financial systems, processes, and controls
- Support business planning, scenario modelling, and growth strategy
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or QBE with strong SME experience)
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role
- Strong understanding of cash flow management and management reporting
- Experience in recruitment or service-based industries (desirable but not essential)
- Proactive, hands-on approach with a commercial mindset
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and Excel
