A leading high street supplier is recruiting a passionate and experienced Casual Junior Outerwear/Multi-product Womenswear Designer. This role will be working within the design team and alongside the Account Manager.

Overseeing the entire design process, starting with trend and research, developing ranges, preparing and presenting in customer meetings and daily contact with the customer. Emphasis on shape design and knowledge of fabrics.

We are looking for a Junior Designer who is:

  • Ideally with a high street supplier.
  • Commercially aware of current trends and themes, developing the brand and working with production to ensure all products are in line with the customers’ direction and critical path.
  • An excellent communicator and someone who is comfortable working with colleagues and customers at all levels, including factories and third parties based in the Far East and Europe.
  • Highly organised, efficient and able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Garment technical knowledge, ability to compile detailed tech packs.
  • Driven, takes initiative, positive and solutions focused.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D design a bonus.
  • Educated to degree level, ideally related to fashion design.
