Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for an experienced Network Analyst with deep technical knowledge of SolarWinds and expertise across Cisco network technologies, including automation, identity, and fabric solutions.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
- Upgrade, patch, and optimise the SolarWinds platform to ensure system stability, security, and performance.
- Build and maintain custom SolarWinds widgets, NOC dashboards, and performance monitoring templates.
- Leverage SolarWinds for end-to-end network visibility, rapid fault detection, and root cause analysis.
- Work hands-on in data centre environments involving racking, cabling, and physical hardware deployments.
- Deliver critical support and troubleshooting under pressure, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum performance.
Required Skills/Experience
- SolarWinds (Monitoring): Proven hands-on experience in configuration, customisation, and optimisation.
- Cisco DNA (Automation): Deep understanding of intent-based networking and automation workflows.
- Cisco ACI (Fabric): Experience deploying and managing application-centric infrastructure.
- Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine): Working knowledge of identity-based access control.
- Cisco FMC (Firewall Management Centre): Familiarity with managing Cisco firewalls and wireless solutions via FMC.
- Demonstrated ability to work in high-stress, real-life support environments, ensuring system stability and issue resolution.
- Experience in delivering infrastructure changes outside of business hours, in secure data centre environments.
Desirable Skills/Experience
- LogicMonitor - Familiarity with the platform for monitoring hybrid infrastructure.
- F5 Proxies - Exposure to managing or integrating with F5 devices.
