Learning Support Mentor We are seeking a learning support mentor for a specialist behaviour school in Manchester starting in January 2025. This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent based on fit and performance. The Role You will be working alongside the class teacher to support students’ learning and personal development. There will be 1 or 2 students specifically who you will support more closely, accompanying them both in and out of the classroom. You will implement different interventions and strategies to effectively manage challenging student behaviour. About You The ideal candidate for this position will have some experience supporting individuals on a 1:1 basis and have excellent behaviour management skills. A passion for supporting children with additional needs and challenging behaviours is essential. You must be a resilient and empathetic individual with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
