Position: Commercial Gas Engineer
Example Recruitment Group is currently working with a well-established national heating contractor specialising in the local authority sector. They are currently seeking a qualified Commercial Gas Engineer to cover the Greater Manchester area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, Maintenance and Repair of commercial gas and solid fuel heating systems
- Complete forms of installation work as and when required
- Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring tenants receive excellent care
- Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 yearsβ experience with gas qualifications
- Extensive experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, as well as strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills
- In-date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1
- COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, CDGA1, CIGA1
- Full UK driving licence
- No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out upon offer of employment)
Salary & Benefits:
- 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Additional earning potential with overtime, call out and weekend work available at enhanced rates
- Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided
- Salary: Β£39,140.00 per year
- OTE Β£50,000+ per annum
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
