RecOps is partnered with a consultancy to source a talented Contract Temporary Receptionist to work on a short term 4 week contract during a period of transition. This role pays £125 per day Inside IR35 for an initial 4 week contract; this will be based in central Leeds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome visitors, contractors, and staff with professionalism and a warm manner
  • Handle incoming calls via Microsoft Teams, directing them appropriately or taking messages
  • Manage guest passes, visitor logs, and liaise with building security where necessary
  • Keep the reception and communal areas clean, tidy, and presentable throughout the day
  • Take ownership of meeting room setup and reset, ensuring they are clean, functional, and presentable
  • Support light catering and refreshment duties for meetings when required
  • Carry out daily walk rounds of shared spaces (reception, kitchen, meeting rooms), identifying any issues and escalating where needed

Office Relocation Support

  • Assist with day-to-day on-site support related to the relocation to our new Leeds office
  • Liaise with contractors and movers to provide access and record attendance
  • Log and report any snagging or issues arising in the new space
  • Support the Facilities Manager with tasks related to the move (eg, deliveries, setup, signage)

What You'll Bring

  • Prior experience in Reception, Front-of-House, or Office Assistant roles
  • Excellent spoken and written English, with clear, confident communication skills
  • Strong organisational and multitasking ability
  • A friendly, professional manner and proactive work ethic
  • Confidence working independently and adapting to a changing environment
