The role provides crucial support to the transport department in the daily planning and execution of £44 million worth of outbound and inbound logistics. This encompasses delivery scheduling, detailed shipment planning (carton-level), outbound delivery notes processing, and the management of inbound returns and failed deliveries. This position operates within a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, necessitating the ability to prioritise and execute multiple tasks logically and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating with customers, suppliers, and drivers to optimise route planning and delivery scheduling.
- Prioritising workload and managing driver briefings and debriefings.
- Resolving transport-related challenges and processing customer returns to maintain operational efficiency.
