About the Role: We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and proactive Administration & Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team based at our Birch Road office in Dumbarton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and energetic office environment. You will report directly to the Logistics Manager and receive training in a variety of areas, including general administration, customer interaction, sales, and how to contribute effectively as part of a team. You will also be trained in the use of various software systems, providing essential support across multiple areas of the business.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - 40 Hours Per Week
Key Responsibilities:
- Reception duties: Welcoming visitors, answering phones, dealing with customer enquiries, and managing deliveries.
- Fleet management support: Assisting the Logistics Manager with driver licensing checks, managing driver hours, handling infringement paperwork, and ensuring all supporting documentation is in place.
- Training matrix management: Control and maintain the company’s training matrix, liaise with third-party training providers, and ensure all training records are up to date.
- ISO and BSI administration: Aid in the administration of ISO 9001, 14001, and BSI systems.
- Cross-department communication: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth and effective operations.
- General administration: Filing, shredding, binding/laminating, scanning, and performing other office support tasks as required.
Skills and Experience:
- Organisational skills: Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- IT proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and strong typing skills.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.

Requirements:
