About the Role:
You will play a pivotal role in our Business Information Transformation (BIT) programme. The BIT programme is a strategic initiative focused on transforming the clients into a more data-driven organisation. By leveraging advanced analytics and business intelligence tools, we aim to enhance decision-making, optimise operations, and foster innovation across all departments. As part of this transformation, you will play a critical role in engaging with the user community, translating their data analysis requirement into high-impact dashboards and reports that empower teams with the insights they need to succeed. High-quality, clean, and trusted data is seen as a core enabler for service delivery improvements.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
- Strong analytical skills and a track record of working with large, complex datasets.
- Proven ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business questions into data-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop and implement a structured data analysis framework to support consistent, high-quality insight generation.
- Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that drive business performance and service delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective data visualisation solutions.
- Perform advanced data analysis and modelling to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with governance and GDPR standards.
- Contribute to the BIT programme's mission by delivering insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.
Desirable:
- Experience in or exposure to public sector environments.
- Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages.
