A busy established Chartered Accountants practice based in Epping is recruiting a part-time ACA/ACCA/QBE qualified Chartered Accountant to assist with a growing pipeline of new business. A personable manner is essential, as is diligence, good communication and an eye for detail.
Main duties
- Work with an existing team of like-minded professionals of varying levels of experience.
- Prepare, review and finalise a wide range of accounts including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and charities.
- Assist with ad hoc assignments such as budgeting, cash flow forecasts, dealing with incoming client queries and liaising with HMRC.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, self-assessment and Corporation Tax Returns.
Skills and Experience
- ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE.
- Minimum of five years experience working in general practice essential.
- Proficient in the use of Iris, Sage, Quickbooks, Xero and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping essential, along with the ability to prepare and understand control accounts and extended trial balance.
- Must be able to manage own workload and client portfolio.
- Audit experience beneficial but not essential.
