Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 pa (DoE)

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 36 per week - 9am to 5.15pm - Monday to Friday - 1 hr lunch (1.25hrs on a Wednesday)

A respected law firm in Coventry is looking to recruit a confident and capable Legal Fee Earner to join its busy Litigation department. This is an excellent opportunity to handle a diverse caseload with real responsibility, in a hybrid role offering 1-2 days working from home each week.

The Responsibilities of a Legal Fee Earner - Litigation:

  • You will manage a varied range of civil and commercial litigation matters (not personal injury, clinical negligence or employment, as these are dealt with by specialist teams), including:
  • Contract disputes
  • Property and landlord/tenant litigation
  • Debt recovery
  • Consumer rights claims
  • Professional negligence and general civil disputes

The skills & qualities of a Legal Fee Earner - Litigation:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience handling litigation files
  • Solid understanding of litigation procedures, including pre-action protocol and court processes
  • Strong organisational and file management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proven experience meeting fee earning targets and new business development
  • Experience as a Legal Executive, Solicitor, or experienced Paralegal will all be considered
