As the company continues to scale, they’re looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to take full ownership of the delivery function and ensure smooth, efficient, and timely operations across Greater London.
This is a pivotal role, managing a team of 25 Delivery Drivers, overseeing route optimisation, and ensuring a consistently high-quality experience for customers receiving bespoke meal plans crafted to their personal goals. Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the day-to-day logistics operation, ensuring on-time, accurate delivery of meals across London
- Lead and develop a team of 25 Delivery Drivers, ensuring performance, compliance, and customer service standards are maintained
- Build, implement, and continuously improve route planning and optimisation tools/processes to maximise efficiency and reduce delivery costs
- Monitor delivery KPIs and ensure daily operational targets are achieved
- Maintain excellent communication across the production and operations teams to ensure seamless shift handovers and real-time issue resolution
- Identify and respond proactively to logistical challenges, always ensuring a solution-driven approach
- Drive innovation by introducing new technologies or practices, to improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction
- Proven experience in a Logistics Manager or similar role within FMCG or Food Manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of route optimisation and logistics planning software
- A hands-on leader with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Clear communicator with the ability to manage, motivate, and support a large delivery team
- A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for smarter, more efficient ways of working
