Imperial Recruitment Group is proud to be representing a respected and forward-thinking legal firm in the recruitment of a Legal Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and motivated individual to support a busy legal team in delivering high-quality services to clients.
Role Purpose: To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the legal office by providing essential administrative support to the legal team. You will help alleviate the workload of lawyers, allowing them to focus on client service, while contributing to the wider goals of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing court forms and legal statements
- Handling confidential client and case information
- Answering telephone enquiries and taking messages
- Photocopying, paginating, and document preparation
- Working from solicitors' written notes and dictation
- Communicating professionally with clients
- Managing diaries and making appointments
- General office administration including filing and record keeping
- Confident use of computers and office software
- Prioritising tasks to meet deadlines
- Supporting Senior Solicitors and Legal Executives with case management
- Managing invoices for private client files
- Liaising with the Legal Aid Agency and HMCTS MyPortal
