Superb opportunity to join a leading investment bank based in the City. We’re looking for a Research Support Administrator to join their UK research team. This is an entry-level role and you’ll work closely with the equity research analysts to edit, format and publish documentation, all critical to the business success. It’s a varied position that offers fantastic development and exposure. We’re looking for an outgoing, self-starter with exceptional attention to detail. You’ll work both independently and as part of a small team. Accuracy is key to success along with strong communication skills. The team follow a hybrid work pattern that usually equals to 4-days per week in the office. Responsibilities: * Editing and formatting research documents to meet requirements, ensuring high standards and continuity in style and the quality control process. * Using Blue Curve and the in-house publishing system to produce final PDFs for distribution electronically directly to clients and third-party vendors in a timely fashion via Singletrack CRM system. * Providing technical support and assistance to Research Analysts in both Word and Excel when required, including the creation of Excel charts and graphs. * Working closely with IT when any changes or enhancements are made to the publishing systems to ensure tested thoroughly and any problems resolved before release. * Supporting the Research Business Manager with any operational tasks as required. * Contributing to the management of workflow within the department and ensuring the publishing schedule is up to date where possible. * Publishing research documents in print when required, generating mailing lists, creating print specs and producing print ready files. What experience you’ll need; * Ability to liaise and communicate with various business stakeholders. * Excellent communication skills and written proficiency. * Advanced user of MS packages and specifically in Word using templates. * Ability to work under pressure and problem solve. * Ability to be responsive with the managers/analysts, remaining diplomatic but firm. * Experience within financial services or investment banking is hugely beneficial. * Strong attention to detail, committed to quality, effectiveness and accuracy.
