The Role
They are a privately owned, successful property company with an established reputation for identifying and unlocking land opportunities for both residential and commercial development. Known for its entrepreneurial drive and ability to deliver complex land promotions, the company has created significant value across a broad portfolio of current and strategic land schemes.
As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking experienced Land Managers to support their growth across the North West, Yorkshire, Midlands, and Southern regions. This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of land acquisition activity in your area, with fast decision-making processes and strong internal support.
What you'll be doing:
- Identifying and securing strategic and immediate land opportunities suitable for residential or mixed-use development.
- Conducting detailed site assessments and due diligence including planning potential, policy context, and development viability.
- Building and maintaining a strong network of local agents, landowners, planning consultants, and professional contacts.
- Sourcing off-market land opportunities and developing routes to acquisition.
- Leading negotiations and securing land deals via option agreements, promotion agreements, or unconditional purchases.
- Working closely with internal planning, technical, and legal teams to progress opportunities through acquisition and promotion.
- Preparing and presenting detailed acquisition reports to senior leadership for review and sign-off.
- Overseeing the transaction process through to legal completion, with responsibility for managing key stakeholders throughout.
- Attending local authority meetings, networking events, and planning committee sessions as required.
