PURPOSE OF ROLE
Lawes is assisting our client in finding an experienced Account Executive to manage a portfolio of approximately £100k and grow their book of business. The successful candidate will be tasked with creating and implementing a business plan to drive growth, playing a key role in the ongoing success of the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan aimed at achieving growth targets
- Conduct regular client visits to build strong, lasting relationships
- Present risks to the market and identify cover requirements tailored to clients' needs
- Liaise effectively with internal brokers and insurer underwriters to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain a strong sales focus while demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of commercial broking
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5-7 years of commercial broking experience, demonstrating a strong track record in the industry
- Proven sales ability or a clear indication of potential for sales success
- In-depth understanding of commercial insurance products and the associated risk management processes
DAY-TO-DAY
- Manage and grow a book of business with a clear goal of expanding the portfolio
- Regularly visit clients to maintain relationships and present solutions
- Develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure business continuity and client satisfaction
- Prepare and execute business plans to drive growth and meet targets
SKILLS
- Strong sales and business development skills with a passion for building long-term client relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in commercial broking and risk assessment, with the ability to identify and solve complex issues
