About the Role
We are looking for a Machine Setter to join our production team. You will be responsible for preparing and setting up machines for operation, including changing tools and making sure all settings and parameters are correct. You will also support production by ensuring machines run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with mechanical experience and great attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities of this Machine Setter role:
- Safely prepare and set up machines for production
- Change tools/dies and adjust settings as per production requirements
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Ensure all equipment and tools are safe, clean, and ready for use
- Work with other teams (toolroom, process engineers, etc.) to solve issues
- Support machine start-up and handover to operators
- Record setup information and maintain documentation
- Help train and support other team members when needed
