A leading supplier of the highest quality printed cartons is currently seeking an experienced Die Cutting Operator to run a Bobst Expertcut 106 on a permanent night shift.
The Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Die Cutter is essential.
- Must have experience of Bobst, and preferably Iberica machines (or similar).
- Possess knowledge of safety, quality and continuous improvement techniques.
- Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the machine.
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational and self-motivational skills.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexible attitude towards working is a must.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
The Position:
- You will be responsible for setting up your own machine.
- Running a Bobst Expertcut 106.
- Checking possible defects in the quality.
- Ability to manage a schedule of work on a daily basis.
- Report all safety incidents.
- Complete daily inspections of your machine and report all potential maintenance issues to your Supervisor/Manager.
