Role Overview: As a Gate Engineer working with our client, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire-rated doors, shutters, gates, and associated passive fire protection systems. You will ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission a variety of fire-rated gates, shutters, and doors in line with project specifications and current fire safety legislation.
- Perform regular inspections, servicing, and testing to ensure continued compliance and functionality of fire safety equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults in gate systems and components, including mechanical and electrical elements.
- Complete detailed reports and certification for all works undertaken, ensuring traceability and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with fire safety engineers, project managers, and other trades to deliver integrated fire safety solutions.
