Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quant Developer with expert-level Java experience to join our dynamic e-Trading technology team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-performance environments and has a deep understanding of low-latency, real-time systems. You will be working directly on the electronic trading platform, collaborating with traders, quantitative analysts, and other technologists to design and implement scalable and efficient trading solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain low-latency Java-based components for the e-Trading platform.
- Build real-time solutions with a strong focus on performance optimization, multithreading, and network programming.
- Work across Windows and Linux environments to deliver robust and scalable applications.
- Collaborate closely with quantitative analysts and trading teams to integrate pricing and risk models into the trading architecture.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of trading systems by implementing strong monitoring and failover mechanisms.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform through DevOps principles and automation (CI/CD, configuration management, etc.).
Required Skills & Experience:
- Expert-level Java development skills, with a strong focus on high-performance and scalable systems.
- Proven experience in real-time, low-latency system development in trading or similarly demanding environments.
- Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and network programming.
- Proficient in developing and deploying applications on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Experience in the electronic trading domain, ideally within Fixed Income, FX, or Equities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a quantitative mindset.
Desirable Skills:
- Exposure to DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, etc.).
- Understanding of financial products and markets (e.g., FX, Rates, Credit, Derivatives).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
