Aspire People are seeking an experienced Teacher to join one of our Mainstream Primary Schools in Stoke. This unique role involves leading Year 6 Boosters in the mornings and serving as a Class Teacher for Year 1 in the afternoons. The Role This dual-focused position is an exciting opportunity to support pupils in different stages of their learning journey: Year 6 Boosters (mornings): * Deliver targeted support to small groups or individual pupils in Year 6, focusing on core subjects to prepare them for SATs. * Identify learning gaps and tailor sessions to address specific needs. * Motivate and encourage pupils to build their confidence and achieve their full potential. Year 1 Class Teacher (afternoons): * Take full responsibility for planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Year 1 curriculum. * Foster a nurturing classroom environment to support younger pupils’ emotional and academic development. * Assess and monitor pupil progress, ensuring all children are supported to achieve their best. What We’re Looking For We are seeking a teacher who is: * Experienced: Proven experience in delivering SATs-focused interventions and teaching early years or Key Stage 1. * Adaptable: Able to transition seamlessly between supporting Year 6 and teaching Year 1. * Collaborative: Works well within a team to contribute to the school’s ethos and success. * Dedicated: Committed to staying with us for the duration of the academic year to ensure continuity for our pupils.
