Anord Mardix, a Flex company, are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the worlds largest companies.
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to add a Deal Desk Analyst to our team, working remotely in the UK. Reporting to the Director, Material Quotation, the Deal Desk Analyst will be responsible for driving the end-to-end Quote to Cash (QTC) process for strategic deals, ensuring seamless handoff from quoting through shipment and revenue recognition. You will collaborate with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Project, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams to align on deal requirements and approvals.
What a typical day looks like:
- Validate deal target price accuracy, integrity and compliance and monitor and resolve gating issues that may delay deals such as pricing/cost gaps, contract bottlenecks, product certifications, shipment compliance approvals, material shortages.
- Track key deal KPIs including win rate, deal cycle time, margin realization, and quote-to-order conversion.
- Work with Legal team for contract routing, approval coordination, and documentation to ensure timely execution and audit readiness.
- Drive cross-functional resolution on any issues impacting deal closure or shipment.
- Provide strategic pricing insights based on customer/sales feedback.
- Conduct competitor price comparisons and support development of price-against strategies and consolidate market research, customer insights, and internal data to propose pricing enhancements.
- Provide actionable recommendations on deal-level analysis, customer behaviour, and historical outcomes.
- Support internal executive reporting on deal pipeline health, blocker status, and margin risk indicators.
- Perform forecast vs. actuals analysis on quoted deals to measure financial impact and track execution gaps.
- Own and maintain standardized deal documentation templates, approval matrices, and pricing review checklists.
- Build and maintain deal desk dashboards and performance scorecards for internal visibility.
- Analyze deal-level margin trends, discounting behaviour, and pricing exceptions for improvement opportunities.
- Support special pricing scenarios and unique commercial models by evaluating risks and proposing structure options.
- Participate in UAT, QA, and enhancement feedback for CPQ or pricing system improvements.
The experience we are looking to add to our team:
- Bachelors degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics; MBA is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Deal Desk operations or Quote-to-Cash processes, with proven ability to manage complex internal deal workflows across functions.
- End-to-end business and operational ownership mindset, with strong accountability for driving deals through the full Quote-to-Cash lifecycle.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills.
- Analytical and data-driven, with confidence in margin analysis, cost/price breakdowns, and performance tracking.
- Strong Excel and reporting capabilities, with ability to prepare and interpret performance scorecards or forecasting reports.
- Proven cross-functional communicator, able to collaborate fluidly with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Operations.
- Skilled in stakeholder management and high emotional intelligence and persuasive influence, able to get cross-functional teams to align and act quickly.
- Commercially sharp, with the ability to interpret deal structure, pricing strategies, and customer behaviour.
- Program/project-oriented, solution focused and a proactive problem solver.
- Must have a UK driving license and be willing to travel throughout UK, Europe and US occasionally.
- Bilingual is preferred with Mandarin language skills an advantage.
